The program Active under the rainbow consists of supportive social activities for young lesbians, gay men, bisexual, transsexual, intersexual, queer, asexual and aromantic persons (LGBTIQA+) and their friends. The program is focused on ensuring a safe space for socialization of LGBTIQA+ youth, their supporters and peers. Through social activities it provides an opportunity to inform, empower and offer community support to LGBTIQA+ youth (the principle is youth for youth). It allows for safe and alternative spaces of interpersonal socialization of LGBTIQA+ youth.
The program is supported by the Municipality of Ljubljana – Department for youth, the Ministry of Health, Erasmus+ youth programs (through the national agency Movit) and FIHO.
